Milestones

Tomorrow is Libby's last day at work, and we couldn't be more thrilled! And her company finally fixed their insurance error (as in we didn't have any) so we are good there for awhile.

So far this week, Tucker has learned to:

A. Do the Raspberries. Theresa learned this a week or two ago, and Tucker just started doing it on his own. Neat.

B. Put the pacifier back into his mouth, assuming it fell only an inch or two away from his mouth.

C. Grab a hold and hold onto toys. That makes playtime alot more fun.

D. Lift up Libby's shirt sometimes when he's still hungry.

E. Giggle.

Working again

So I survived almost two weeks of work now. Of course, there is no actual work to do besides the process of going though my files and computer. That is turning out to be very time consuming and hard to make much progress. That is fine with me and it has been good to see everyone and be on the computer uninterrupted by a small boy!

The babysitters are doing a good job and it must have worn out Tucker last night since he slept the ENTIRE evening. I was worried he would be up all night from all that sleeping but he went to bed early even. It was nice to relax and he even slept though his normal cranky portion of the evening which I did not miss. It was quite the opposite of the previous evening, when he was playing a lot, since we were all excited from officially having a new president. Though the boy doesn't comprehend that yet, maybe he was feeding off our energy.

I have loaded a best of Tucker pictures to see how he changed. Nothing from the hospital but some very recent ones.

3 Months

Well, we're a little behind now. But yesterday was Tucker's official 3 month birthday, even though he is 13 weeks already. So far he's a pretty happy kid with a good personality, like us. And Libby's Mom confirms that he likes music.

We have 1 week down of Libby's not so triumphant return to the working world, and it wasn't that bad. With the crappy weather, Libby stayed at her parent's house for 2 nights, so I got to see what it's like to not have them around. It was a little sad. The crappy weather didn't make for a good week either, especially when the Jeep's battery finally gave up on Friday, when it was -19°.

The holiday yesterday gave her a free stay at home day, so that rocks. Thanks MLK. Her parent's won't be able to help this week, so it's her cousin and our friend Tony to the rescue.
